Welcome to the South Dakota Educational Employment System. The employment system is a “one-stop shop” to connect current and aspiring educators – teachers, administrators, and support staff – with employment resources and opportunities in South Dakota. This employment system is available free of charge to all job seekers and employers in the education field to connect people and promote the benefits of teaching and supporting education in South Dakota!

Our aspiration is for all students to leave the K-12 education system college, career, and life ready. We cannot achieve that vision without filling every teacher, administrator, and support staff role in our schools. To best support the more than 150,000 students in South Dakota, it is critical we fill these positions.
