Do you want to work in a supportive learning environment where teachers and students are valued? Jones County School District is looking for a 4th Grade Classroom teacher. This is a self-contained classroom. The teacher will be responsible for creating lesson plans and delivering instruction aligned with state content standards in reading, language arts, science, social studies, and technology. Key responsibilities include maintaining effective classroom management, organizing the classroom environment, supervising recess and lunch as assigned, attending staff meetings and professional development sessions, and fostering a positive learning environment that supports the success of all students.
