Responsibilities 
The Food Service Cook/Server is to work with the food service department to 
ensure students and staff are fed daily. Other duties would be cooking, baking, 
serving students and staff members meals, dishwashing, and cleaning. 

Evaluation Standards 
The Food Service Cook/Server will be evaluated by the Superintendent.

▪ Be able to order supplies, commodities, update inventory, model 
cleanliness and proper hygiene. 
▪ Able to work with children of all ages, staff members, and parents.  
▪ Effective communicator and professional. 
▪ Have a positive attitude, dependable & consistent attendance, and 
strong work ethic. 
▪ Commitment to the vision, mission, and values of the Lake Preston 
School District. 

Salary/Contract 
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour depending on qualifications. Specific hours would be 
determined by the candidate. Approximately 20+ hours per week. 10:00 a.m. to 
2:00 p.m. daily Monday through Friday.
