Job Description:

Job Type: Full-Time, 2025-2026 School Year
The Behavior Interventionist/Success Coordinator is responsible for supporting
students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success in a K-12 school setting.
This role involves supporting teachers and staff with behavioral strategies, collaborating
with families, and ensuring that students have the resources they need to be successful
in school. The coordinator will work closely with administrators, counselors, special
education staff, and teachers to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
● Develop, implement, and monitor individualized students exhibiting behavioral
challenges.
● Work with classroom teachers to assist with students struggling academically.
● Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to implement school
district policies throughout the district.
● Provide direct support and intervention to students struggling with behavior,
attendance, or social-emotional concerns.
● Serve as a liaison between school and home, working closely with
parents/guardians to support student success.
● Assist in the development and implementation of restorative practices to address
disciplinary issues.
● Maintain accurate documentation and records of student progress, interventions,
and communications with stakeholders.
● Assist in training and professional development for classroom management
strategies.
● Collaborate with mental health professionals, school counselors, and special
education staff to provide wrap-around services for students in need.
● Participate in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Individualized
Education Program (IEP) meetings as appropriate.
● Support students transitioning between educational settings (e.g., alternative
education, re-entry from suspension, etc.).
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, social work, counseling, or a related
field required (Master’s degree preferred).
● Experience working in education, behavioral intervention, counseling, or a related
field.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with
students, staff, and families.
● Ability to collect and analyze behavior data to guide decision-making.
● Experience with crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and conflict
resolution.
● Ability to work independently while also contributing as a member of a team.
● Proficiency in technology tools for documentation, communication, and data
tracking.
Working Conditions:
● School-based environment with interaction with students, staff, and families.
● May require working outside regular school hours for meetings, training, and
student support.
● Physical ability to engage in crisis intervention strategies as needed.
● Travel between school sites may be required.



Other:

Salary: Commensurate with experience and district guidelines
● Base salary of $47,200. Salary could increase depending on experience and
qualifications, in accordance with the district salary schedule.
