As a Secondary Science Teacher at Teachwell Academy, you will have the opportunity to create engaging lesson plans, facilitate hands-on experiments, and provide individualized support to students. You will be responsible for teaching basic science classes to students in grades 9-12. Your passion for science and commitment to excellence will ensure that all students have the opportunity to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field, as well as a valid South Dakota teaching certificate. Candidates who are not certified to teach but who possess a 4-year degree can obtain certification through an alternative certification route that includes completion of 15 additional college credits within 3 years.

Teachwell provides a full benefit package, including participation in the South Dakota State Retirement System. The base salary for this position is $45,565, with additional pay based upon experience.
