Job Description:

The Irene-Wakonda School District has an immediate opening for an Elementary Special Education Teacher with an emphasis on managing Behavioral Concerns/Outcomes for the remainder of the 2024 – 2025 school year and the 2025 - 2026 school year. The Irene-Wakonda Elementary is located in Wakonda, SD.  The current enrollment for grades K – 6 is 144 students. The school prides itself on a great school climate. The school follows a 4-day school week Monday – Thursday with 20 Eagle Fridays (student help days) from 8:00 – 12:00.
