Job Summary:
The Lead-Deadwood School District is seeking an experienced, passionate, and visionary leader to serve as the Head Football Coach for our Class 11B football program. This individual will oversee all aspects of the football program, develop student-athletes on and off the field, and uphold the school's vision of creating a Cohesive Community within our school district, Boundless Opportunities for our students, and Helping those students Discover their Gold 

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive football program that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Plan and lead practices to build on the skills and scheme that will be executed in games. 
Foster positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, staff, and the broader community.
Collaborate with assistant coaches, athletic staff, and school administration to ensure the program's success.
Oversee the maintenance and inventory of football equipment.
Promote the program through community involvement, media outreach, and other channels.
Provide service to stakeholders within the community

Qualifications:
Previous coaching experience, preferably at the high school or collegiate level.
Knowledge of football fundamentals, strategies, and SDHSAA regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to inspire, mentor, and positively influence student-athletes.
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive team environment.
Building a program that works with and maintains positive relationships within the communities of Lead and Deadwood.
