Job Description:

The Sisseton Public School District in Sisseton, SD is accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE Middle School/High School Band & Chorus Teacher (w-w/o coaching). 

*This position includes additional unit pay for band and chorus activities that are not represented in the salary listed below. 

Starting date: January, 2025 OR 2025-26 School Year

Salary: $48,500+, DOE (based on 180-day contract) + Additional Unit Pay for band and chorus activities. 
$3000 signing bonus.

Sisseton High School serves approximately 300 students in grades 9-12, and Sisseton Middle School serves approximately 300 students in grades 5-8. 

Applicants should possess or be eligible for South Dakota certification in music education, choral education, instrumental education, or another comparable license. Alternative certification is available for candidates with a bachelor's degree in a related field. Certification process website: https://doe.sd.gov/certification/
