Job Description:

The MS/HS science position consists of 6, 7, and 8 grade science. We are trying something knew where all three classes learn the same material each year thus requiring only one prep for the teacher. This is able to happen as MS science is only state tested at the completion of 8th grade. The HS science consists of freshman physical science, sophomore biology, and a junior/senior elective that tends to rotate between chemistry and physiology/anatomy.

We are a small, rural, friendly school district. Our distrct has 120 students k-12, so an average of about 8-9 kids per class. All of our staff enjoy the team atmosphere. Most teachers fulfill other roles such as coaching, after school teaching, and other advisor roles of students. Extra curricular opportunities include sports coaching (football, basketball, track) as well as the arts such as oral interpetation. We recently built a brand new school (2018), thus giving our studetns and staff a new, safe, and beautiful environment to learn in/ It also shows the incredible support of our community and thier value in education.
